SKI AREA HOCHZILLERTAL
Just outside our hotel you will find the entry point to the ski area Hochzillertal, high above the Ziller Valley. 88.07 kilometres of slopes, two runs that lead all the way into the valley, a snowboarding- and free-skiing park are only some of the features of the Hochzillertal ski area. 39 lifts take you ever higher – amongst them 5 cable cars, 12 chairlifts and 19 T-bar and button lifts. After having conquered the blue, red or black slopes you can take a rest in one of the many cosy huts – both slopes and huts cater for the whole family and offer something for every taste. We are very fortunate to have a ski area right on the doorstep of our Aparthotel.
Location
The Aparthotel Alp Tirol is situated in Kaltenbach, right in the middle of the Ziller Valley and only a few steps away from the Hochzillertal cable car station. The Zillertalbahn train station is a mere three-minute walk away. Groceries, our in-house café and toyshop, ski school offices and ski rental shops as well as several vibrant après ski bars are in the hotel’s immediate vicinity. Our house is centrally located – right in the middle of the Ziller Valley.
